What is Dinner Church? Simply put, it’s worship, but with a meal. We will gather with friends to prepare dinner, set the tables, and share a meal and worship service. This informal worship will include a message, discussion, and communion. Friends are welcome. You may arrive at 4:30 p.m. to help prepare the meal or at 5:15 p.m. to eat and help clean up. This is cosponsored by First English and St. Ansgar’s and is part of our new joint High School ministry. Future events will rotate between the two churches. A donation of $3 to defray cost of the meal is suggested. Pastor Nicole Rohe-Rockne and Kris Hertsgaard Kincaid are leading this ministry. Enter through the East door, lower level.

Come to this information meeting to see and hear about this outdoor ministry opportunity. This summer we will experience God’s creation in Colorado’s Rocky Mountains. Monday and Tuesday (one night) participants will backpack. Under the leadership of experienced guides, the group will venture to remote alpine lakes and mountain peaks. Routes are customized for all ability and skill levels. Tuesday by dinner we will be back at camp. Wednesday we will participate in service projects and on Thursday go high water rafting. Throughout the week we will explore what it means to be a steward of God’s creation through discussion and worship. We will sleep in platform tents and prepare some meals over a wood fire.
