The Mitten Tree has once again been decorated with red mittens and is located in the narthex. On each mitten is an article of clothing or a toy that will help make a family’s Christmas a little happier. Gifts of Econo gift cards will be given to the families for their holiday meal.
The Mission Committee asks that you take a mitten (or several!) from the Mitten Tree, purchase that article, wrap it (attach the mitten to the outside of package) and return it back under the tree by December 17th. These gifts plus wonderful gifts of toys provided by Toys for Tots (Marine project) will be delivered to the families..
Members of St. Ansgar’s have always been very generous and look forward to this project each year. Knowing that it is indeed more blessed to give than to receive, the Mission Committee asks for your help in giving to those less fortunate during this holiday season. A special thank you to the Quilters for providing quilts for these families.
